Wedding Taster Day 2024

The Main Event.

DUNEDIN COUNTRY HOUSE / BORN BOHO / DANDREW PHOTOGRAPHY / STEPHANIE HALSEY HARPIST

~ Sunday 4th February 2024 ~

At Dunedin, we love our food - in fact, it’s almost impossible to pop in for even just a cup of tea without going home with some freshly baked treats!

So, it will come as no surprise that one our most highly anticipated events of the year (and one of our personal favourites) is the Wedding Taster Day.

The idea behind our taster days is to allow all of our couples with weddings approaching to sample smaller portions of all of our menu and have a taste of our celebration drinks (for after the ceremony). It’s a great opportunity to come back and visit us, speak to the team and get excited about your big day.

You must be hungry by now… take a look at our wall of food across all three courses, captured professionally by Dandrew Photography.

Let’s talk dreamy décor…

We work with amazing suppliers at Dunedin - seriously, the best of the best - and for this event we were fortunate enough to collaborate with Born Boho, bohemian venue stylists based in East Yorkshire. Claire and her team regularly work their magic here for a range of weddings and events.

Their stunning geometric backdrop made a great feature, with delicate draping and the addition of neutral florals. The LED ‘Soulmates’ sign added a stylish touch (and looks amazing for your evening celebrations - take our word for it). Blush napkins brought a pop of colour to the tableware and allowed the pampas bowls to take centre stage.

All pricing and package information can be found on the Born Boho website. Be sure to check out their socials too.

They really do make your dream décor vision come to life… Just look at the photos!

Music to our ears…

Have you heard Stephanie Halsey on the harp before? It’s heavenly. Honestly.

For all of the excitement and conversation that was underway at the taster day, the atmosphere was surprisingly chilled - all thanks to the gentle accompaniment of the harp playing. Stephanie is another regular face at Dunedin, across the weddings and our wedding fayres. She is extremely talented and a dream to work with!

Capture the moment…

There’s nothing like a photo to capture a moment - especially when Dandrew Photography is involved. Dan collaborated with us for this event, being one of the favourite photographers amongst our couples at Dunedin, we knew that his expertise of shooting both the event and the intermittent food would be second to none. We’re so pleased with the final result!
