Local Area

Patrington is a wonderful village situated between the east coast and the Humber Estuary ,15 miles east of Hull. Our church, St Patricks, is actually the Queen of Holderness and well worth a visit whilst you are with us. We are situated within the village and everything is only a short stroll away. You are spoilt for choice for places to eat, we have 3 public houses serving good food and ale, 1 café and 2 tea rooms, we also have a great little antique shop, hairdressers and many more.

Holderness is full of history and interest, I have lived here for 37 years with my family and still enthuse over the choice of places to keep us busy. If you are a keen walker or nature enthusiast than you have chosen the place to stay. Locally we have the heritage centre and nature reserve at Spurn Point, The Deep Aquarium in Hull and of course just the natural beauty of the Humber estuary and Coastline.

Fort Paull, Burton Constable Hall, Royal Airforce underground bunker at Holmpton, Honeysuckle Farm, The seaside town of Withernsea, and Hornsea, the Market town of Hedon, Hornsea Freeport and Musuem, and 3 local golf courses.
